I strongly believe that we can't just rely on the willpower of the people, nor of the news outlets, that would have to work against their own business. We have to change the rules to rebalance the incentives.

I'm working on an article that goes into more detail on this, but I envision a model that drivers more traffic to higher-quality journalism. The more fact-checked, or the more close to the original source, the more likely to be viewed. I think this will happen when facts are used as the building blocks of meaningful debates.
